UP Board class 10th and 12th examinations have started today. There are total 8,354 exam centres alloted for the examination process. Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has come up with the strict security at the centres. To prevent cheating in the examinations UP Board has also distributed the coded answer sheets among the students. UP Board class 10th examinations start from 8:00 am to 11:15 am. While the class 12th examinations conducted in two slots. One is from 11:00 am to 11:15 am and the other is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
UP Board class 10 examinations are scheduled from February 07 to February 28. Today the first paper was of Music Singing. The next paper is of Agriculture scheduled to the very next day i.e February 08.
Now, if we talk about class 12 examinations, are scheduled from February 07 to March 02. Today the first paper was of Woodwork/ Prandhshilp/ Stitching in the first shift. While Psychology/ Pedagogy/ Logical Studies was in the second shift. Music (Singing)/ Music (Instrumental)/ Dance Art and Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Gujarati/ Punjabi/ Bengali/ Marathi/ Assamese/ Oriya/ Kannada/ Sindhi/ Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Nepali are the subjects scheduled for tomorrow in the first and second shift respectively.
Today total 58,06,922 students have appeared for the examinations. Out of this total 31,95,603 students are from class 10 and 26,11,319 are from class 12. But as per the reports, this number of appeared candidates decreases by 6000 as compared to the last year. Consecutively from last two years, there is a fall off in the number of candidates.
Along with this UP Board has also introduced the strict security at all the allotted exam centres. As per the reports District Magistrates, police chiefs and the special task force (STF) were at the examination centres and make ensure that no student able to cheat during the exams. The answer copies of the students are also coded for the first time. At each paper, the student needs to write his/ her roll number so that there will be no chance of exchange of the answer sheets.
Around 2.50 lakh invigilators are appointed to conduct the examinations at the state level. At the same time, all the examination centres are under CCTV coverage. UP Board examinations are going to continue till 16 working days.
UP Board is one of the largest state board. Just like other boards, UP Board is also making efforts to make it more authentic as well. Along with making the students capable and educative UP Board also doing efforts to inculcate the honesty among them. ‘Hard Work is the only way to get success in life.
