Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to conduct the UP Board pre board exams for the academic year 2019-20. As per the latest reports, pre board exams are going to conduct in December. The time table for the same will be released by the end of the coming week. Pre- Board exams conducted in each and every school annually. However, to analyse and monitor the performance of students more deeply UPMSP has decided to conduct the same pre-board exams in all affiliated schools. It means a common date sheet will designed for all the UP Board affiliated schools students of class 10th and 12th.
UP Secondary Education Department is responsibile for conducting the pre- board exams at the state level. Teachers and the school heads are strictly instructed to evaluate the answer sheets of the pre- board as per the standard norms. This helps the students to know their common mistakes and give the chance to improve them.
UP Board 2020 exams for class 10th and 12th students are from February 18, 2020. The class 10 exams continues until March 03, 2020 and class 12th exams until March 06, 2020. As per the main date sheet the first exam of class 10th students is Hindi and Parambhik Hindi. And class 12th first exam is of Normal Hindi and Hindi.
Though UP Board has released the final schedule of the exams earlier in order to provide a much time to prepare for the exams. But to make the students more confident and become familiar with the pattern of the board exams UPMSP comes up with the decision with the uniform Pre- Board exams.
The pre- board papers and the centres will be treated same as that of the board exams. As per the reports, divisional and district- level quality monitoring cell will be assigned to conduct the inspection at the pre-board exam centres. At the same time All the District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS) will provide a report after the completion of the pre-board exams. Thus, to make ensure no unfair means practiced during the exams board also takes care off the security.
Principals/ Head of the schools are also advised to conduct the extra classes for those subjects in which majority of the students not able to score the good/ passing marks. With this students can work more on those topics and able to prepare for the final exams without any stress.
For the current year UP Board is going the security at the exam centres to decrease the chance of cheating this year. There will be internet connection and router facility inside the exam hall so, that tthe monitoring can be done from the board’s office directly. This also affects the number of students registere. About 1 lakh less students registered for 2020 UP Board exams.
