National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the UGC NET 2021 examination in three phases from November 20, 2021, to January 05, 2022. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 was held at selected centers across the country through the computer-based format. Immediately after the completion of the exam, NTA has released the provisional answer key on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. However, with the release of the provisional answer key, candidates are wondering about the result date and category-wise cut-offs.
UGC NET 2022 Result
As per past year records, the UGC NET results are usually announced 19-25 days after the completion of exam. Based on this date, the UGC NET 2021 result is expected to be announced between January 24 and 30, 2022. As the first date has already passed, candidates can expected the results to be announced on or by January 30, 2022.
Once released, candidates who have appeared for the UGC NET 2022 exam can check their results on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The direct link will be made available on the website’s homepage. However, as of now, the agency is in process of assessing all the objections received and incorporating the valid ones into the provisional answer key to release the final draft.
UGC NET 2022 Expected & Past-Year Cut-Off
To qualify for various fellowship programmes offered by the government, candidates need to qualify the UGC NET 2021 exam by scoring equal to or above the category cut-off. NTA will be releasing this year’s cut-off around the same time as the result declaration. In the meantime, however, candidates can take a look at the past-year cut-offs to determine their chances of qualifying the eligibility test. This year’s figures may change by 1-2%. So, candidates may not have to worry about the drastic difference in cut-offs.
