Bihar Secondary Education Board (BSEB) recently issued a public notice regarding the upcoming Intermediate Class 12 Board Exams 2022. According to the official notice, the Class 12 board exams are all set to be conducted from February 01 to 14, 2022. These will be held offline in the pen-and-paper mode at selected centres across the state. However, with the ongoing intense cold wave in the state, the state board has relaxed an important rule for all students in terms of dress code. Accordingly, students will be allowed to wear shoes and socks to the exam centre.
Earlier, the Bihar education board had released a set of clauses and rules for Inter Class 12 students. These rules defined the dress code, behaviour and other specifications which a candidate had to follow throughout the board exams. Among these was one clause numbered 2.9 which stated that students would be allowed to appear for the exams only in scandals; not socks and shoes.
Exams during Cold Wave
Currently, Bihar is experiencing a cold wave with temperatures ranging between 14-21 degree celsius. Under such climatic conditions, students are bound to feel cold and fall sick, if inadequately covered. Having acknowledged this, students have now been permitted to wear shoes and socks to the Inter Class 12 2022 Board Exams.
BSEB however, has planned on following strict protocol and rules while conducting the Inter Class 12 Board Exams 2022. This is because bard exams are finally being held after two years of cancellation due to COVID-19. Due to rising coronavirus infections in the country, the state was compelled to cancel their board exams and resort to alternate criteria for evaluating students. However, this year, the situation in the education sector is rolling back into normalcy for the state.
The BSEB Inter Class 12 Board Exams are all set to be conducted from February 01 to 14, 2022, at 1471 exam centres across the state. To prevent any misconduct or illicit activities, as many as 11,768 CCTV cameras have been installed in these centres. Furthermore, activity through CCTV will be monitored by the Zilla officials. To enable this plan, a control room has been established in each centre.
Students appearing for Inter Class 12 board exams can download their admit cards from the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. All they have to do is access the admit card download link on the website and key in their credentials. This document will serve as an entry ticket to the exam centre. Given the strict rules specified by BSEB, each candidate must remember to carry a hard copy of his admit card to the exam centre. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification of students from writing the exam.
