As per the official notification of National Testing Agency (NTA), the UGC NET admit card 2019 for December exam will release today. The exact time for release of admit card has not been disclosed by the agency. Hence it can release anytime soon.
From where can the UGC NET admit card 2019 be downloaded?
The official website of UGC NET Dec 2019 is ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It will be here that the admit card download link will be activated. Earlier the official website was ntanet.nic.in. However the agency launched new websites for a number of exams including the National Eligibility Test this time.
Once the admit card is released, a notification to the effect will also be published at nta.ac.in, which is the official website of the National Testing Agency. The notification will be available under latest @ NTA section on the website.
How to download UGC NET Admit Card December 2019?
The process of downloading admit card from the website shall be a 4-5 steps process. First step to be executed is going to the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Once on the website, candidates will have to locate the admit card download link. Which can be indicated by text “view admit card” or “download admit card”. The next action to be taken is to click that link.
Doing so shall open a login page. Here, one has to enter application number, and date of birth. A field to enter security pin will also be there. If the security pin does not show, reload the page. This may sometimes happen when the page has not opened properly. Note that the security pin is case sensitive. And the date of birth is in DD-MM-YYYY format.
Logging in leads to the candidate dashboard. Here if the status shows UGC NET application successfully submitted, then below it there will be two links. One will be print confirmation page, and the other will be download admit card.
Clicking the download admit card link opens a candidate verification for download admit card page. Here one will see details of his or her name, father’s name, date of birth, mother’s name, subject opted. Again, there will be a download your admit card link.
Ultimately, clicking this link automatically downloads the UGC NET admit card 2019 in pdf form in the device.
What details will be there in the admit card?
The UGC NET admit card will contain three sections. First will be candidate details. This will have details of roll number, candidate name, date of birth, category, PWD status, bar code, father’s name, gender, application number.
Then second section will have test details. This will include reporting time at center, gate closing time, NET subject, test center number, venue of test, date of exam, shift, timing of test for paper I and II. Besides these details, to the right, will be the candidate photograph.
Third section will be instructions for the exam.
What to do if there are any errors in the admit card?
Do not panic. National Testing Agency has provided a way out if there are discrepancies in the photograph and signature shown in the admit card. Candidates can approach the helpline from November 9, 2019, to November 16, 2019, during the timings 10 am to 5 pm. In such cases, candidates will be allowed to sit in the exam with the already downloaded admit card, and changes will be made later.
National Eligibility Test is scheduled to be held from December 2 to 6, 2019. Candidates must carry relevant documents along with them to the center, which includes photo identity card, passport size photograph. If applicable, PWD certificate will also be required.
On the basis of NTA UGC NET Dec 2019, candidates will be declared qualified for Assistant Professorship, and Junior Research Fellowship. Other than the NTA NET admit card for UGC NET exam, that for CSIR NET can be downloaded from the same date, albeit at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
