National Testing Agency (NTA) was supposed to release UGC NET Admit Card 2019 on May 27, 2019. However, with the day having ended, the admit card is nowhere in sight yet. Moreover, there is no notice of any kind at ntanet.nic.in, where admit card was supposed to release, about any new date and time for it.
Initially NTA was going to release admit card of UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) on May 15, 2019. But on that day, around afternoon, the agency released a notice saying that they are postponing this event by 12 days.
As per that notice, new date for issuance of hall tickets ought to have been yesterday. Thus, lakhs of NET aspirants had been refreshing ntanet.nic.in since morning of the assigned date. By afternoon, many reached out to DG_NTA, official twitter handle of NTA, to ask when the hall tickets will release. There was no response.
NTA had previously delayed issuance of JEE Main 2019 Admit Card also. For April exam, it was issued on March 21, 2019, at 12:10 AM instead of March 20, 2019. Again, in case of JNUEE and CEEB, admit card was released one day late.
Thus, candidates are advised to not be alarmed by the unnotified delay in UGC NET admit card 2019 download. It is anticipated to be available from today. Once available, candidates can download it using application number and password.
It is also probable that a second link, to download admit card with application number and date of birth, to be present. In that case one need not remember password for login. Nevertheless in either case, easy way to retrieve username and password is to click forgot login credentials button at login.
There is still some time, though less than a month to go for the exam. UGC NET June 2019 is scheduled to be held on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2019. There will be 2 shifts on each day of 3 hours each. First shift shall be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Exam will be held without break for paper 1 and paper 2 in each shift.
UGC NET June 2019 is University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. It is being conducted by NTA for determining eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship.
Its applications were invited from March 1 to 30, 2019. Then online form corrections window was open from April 8 to 14, 2019. After exam is over, candidates will be able to check answer key of UGC NET 2019 for all subjects.
On basis of UGC NET results, candidates will be declared eligible to appear in Assistant Professor recruitment, and also for JRF award. Just like CSIR NET is for science programs, UGC NET is for humanities.
