Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, has finally released the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022 admit card today on January 12, 2022, after it was deferred earlier. The UCEED exam will be held on January 23, 2022. Candidates who have successfully registered can download their UCEED 2022 admit card from the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in.
How to download UCEED 2021 admit card
Candidates can get their UCEED 2022 admit cards by following the instructions given below.
Step 1: Head over to the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in
Step 2: Select ‘UCEED admission card 2022’ from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Enter your registration no. and password
Step 4: UCEED admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Take a printout of the admit card after downloading it.
Candidates must carefully review the information on their admit cards. If the UCEED 2022 admit card is not accessible for download, candidates should immediately contact the IIT Bombayoffice through email at [email protected] or by phone at +91-22-2576-4063/ 9093/ 9094. The deadline for correcting errors on the admit card is January 14, 2022.
Preparation Tips
Candidates are left with around 15 days to prepare for the examination. Using the remaining time, one case boosts up their preparation and ace the exam. So, here are a few tips that can guide an aspirant to enhance their preparation.
1. The exam basically tests a candidate’s observation and problem-solving skills. This can mean that they have to think differently than normal people. Moreover, the questions can be both easy and difficult at the same time. Hence, a different outlook in thought is necessary.
2. Some important sections that candidates should focus on during preparation are mathematical geometry, observation and visualization skills, English comprehension, GK, and environmental studies, among others. While practicing, one should stress more on sample papers and mock tests, abstract tests, etc.
3. Go through the previous question papers of at least four years. This will be helpful in understanding the common trends. As a result, one will be able to gear up with their preparation in the remaining days.
4. In continuation with the third tip, it was found that questions based on counting fonts were very much common in the previous UCEED tests. There will be more than one way to approach a problem. To have an idea of the same, it is advised to go through the previous year’s papers first and then attempt to solve them without looking for solutions.
Exam Day Guidelines
Every candidate must carry a printed copy of the UCEED 2022 admit card to the examination venue on January 23, 2022. They have to appear at the exact examination center as mentioned in the admit cards. No electronic devices such as smartphones, calculators etc. will not be allowed inside the examination halls. All COVID-19 instructions have to be strictly followed.
