The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has postponed the exam for TSPSC ASO Recruitment 2018. The exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on September 02, 2018 will now be held on September 03, 2018. As per reports, the exam has been postponed due to expected road congestion on September 2, 2018.
The exam conducting body issued the admit card for TSPSC ASO. The link for downloading the admit card is available now, however, many students were earlier complaining that they were not able to download their hall ticket. This could be have happened due to some server error, but now the issue has been resolved.
To download the hall ticket, the candidates must visit the official website at tspsc.gov.in. Then, click on the link for “Hall Ticket Download”. Next, the candidates need to enter details such as their TSPSC ID and Date of birth. Click on “GO” button to submit the details and the hall ticket will be available on the screen. Lastly, download and take its print out to bring the same on the day of the examination.
The TSPSC is conducting an offline OMR based test for recruiting candidates for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer in Director, Directorate of Economics and Statistics
Subordinate Services Department in the State of Telangana. There are about 474 number of vacancies for this post.
The shortlisted candidates for this post will get a salary of Rs 24,440-71,510.
The final selection of the candidates for this post is done on the basis of marks obtained in the OMR based test. Hence, the minimum marks for qualifying the test for OCs category is 40%, 35% for BCs, 30% for SC and ST.
The qualifiers of the test will then be called for verification of documents.
The written examination consists of 300 MCQ type questions. The exam will be of total of 05 hours duration. The test will be divided into two papers – Paper 1 will have questions from General Studies and General Abilities, whereas, Paper 2 will have a question from Statistics.
