Telangana Secondary Intermediate Education Board (TSBIE) has issued a public notice announce the Inter 1st and 2nd year Exams Schedule 2022. The official notice has been published in the PDF format on the official website tsbie.cgg.gov.in. Accordingly, the TS Inter 1st year exams will be conducted from April 20 to May 09, 2022. Around the same time, TS Inter 2nd Year exam will be organised from April 21 to May 10, 2022. It is important to note that this is still a tentative schedule and may be subjected to changes, based on prevailing circumstances.
No postponement/cancellation of TS 1st, 2nd Year exams
Before the issuance of this tentative exam schedule, there were speculations floating around about the TSBIE exams getting postponed or cancelled. Students were well aware that their Class 11 and 12 theory exams will be organised during the April-May 2022 period. However, they were urging the state government to postpone their exams due to COVID-19. However, as the country is stabilising from the pandemic, chances of postponement remain bleak.
Furthermore, practical exams for Inter 1st and 2nd year will be conducted during the March-April 2022 period. This official confirmation puts an end to any rumors claiming that practical exams would not be conducted this year.
TS 1st and 2nd Year Schedule
As per the press release, the practical exams for both TS Inter 1st and 2nd Year students will be conducted from March 23 to April 08, 2022, period. This is applicable for both general and vocational courses offered by the Telangana state education board. Practical exams would be conducted on all seven days of the week, without any disruption. The exact schedule will be announced in the days to come.
The TS Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2022 for 1st year students will begin from April 20, 2022, with the 2nd Language Paper II. Similarly, the 2nd year students will appear for their first exam on April 21, 2022, with the same subject. The last paper for both classes is Modern Language Paper – I and Geography Paper – I. It is scheduled on May 09, 2022, for 1st year and May 10, 2022, for 2nd year. All exams will be organised for a duration of 3 hours, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The press release separately mentions the exam dates for two subjects – Ethics & Human Values and Environmental Education. While the former is scheduled on April 11, 2022, the latter will be conducted on April 12, 2022. Timings for both papers remain the same i.e., 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Vocational students are supposed to follow the same schedule as mentioned in the press release. However, to avoid any confusion, a separate date sheet will be uploaded on the official portal tsbie.cgg.gov.in. Such students are advised to refer to this sheet to avoid any confusion.
