The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad will be holding TS POLYCET 2021 examination on June 12, 2021. The exam will be held for admission in Polytechnic diploma courses in colleges of Telangana. The exam date for TS POLYCET 2021 has been finalized in a recent meeting between State Technical Education Commissioner, Naveen Mittal, and the State Technical Education and Training Council (SBITET) Secretary Dr. Srinath.
This year, owing to COVID-19 pandemic, a sigh of relief has been announced for the students. The syllabus for school board exams has been educed by 30%. Hence, the question paper for TS POLYCET 2021 will also be based on 70% revised syllabus.
The application process for the entrance exam will start from May 1, 2021, onwards. The forms will be released on official website polycetts.nic.in. Official announcement of dates and details for TS POLYCET 2021 is expected soon.
In order to apply online, aspirants need to visit the official website for the exam. On the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for applying online. After this, candidates need to fill in necessary details like their personal details, education details, communication details, etc. Next, the aspirants have to upload the scanned copy of their passport photograph and signature. Lastly, review the details as entered in the application form, proceed to pay the required amount of application fee and pay the TS POLYCET application form.
Furthermore, candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent exam, recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana can apply for the exam. Also, those who have compartmentally passed or will be appearing for SSC-2021 exam shall also be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
TS POLYCET is a state level entrance examination. As many as 1.20 lakh people apply for Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) every year. Last year, about 74,000 students applied for the entrance exam. Aspirants who wish to seek admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non-Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics /Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics /Institutions running as 2nd shift in Private Engineering Colleges), Diploma in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Seed Technology & Organic Agriculture in Telangana State have to appear for the entrance exam.
