Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is going to conduct the TS Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) 2021 from June 19 to 22, 2021. The registration deadline for the same has been extended till May 07, 2021. Interested candidates can register for the examination on the official website on pgecet.tsche.ac.in. They can also register for the exam beyond May 07, 2021, till June 15, 2021. However, they are required to pay additional charges along with the application fee.
TS PGECET 2021 application process began on March 12, 2021, and the last date to register without any late fee has been extended to May 07, 2021. Candidates registering from May 08 to 15, 2021 have to pay Rs. 250 as of late fee charges. Those registering from May 16 to 31, 2021 are required to pay Rs.1000 as additional charges along with the application fee.
Candidates deciding to register for the entrance test from June 01 to 07, 2021 have to pay Rs.2500 extra. Those submitting the application form from June 08 to 15, 2021 must pay Rs.5000 as late fee charges. Beyond June 15, 2021, authorities shall not be accepting any applications. Hence, candidates are instructed to register for the TS PGECET 2021 on or before the prescribed deadline.
Osmania University authorities shall be issuing the exam admit cards on the official website pgecet.tsche.ac.in on June 10, 2021. Successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website on or before June 18, 2021. They are advised to download their admit cards well in advance to not create chaos on the exam date.
Candidates have been extra time to apply for the state-level entrance test. To do so, they must click on the “Application Fee Payment” option on the homepage of the website. Thereafter, aspirants must fill in the required information such as date of birth, qualifying exam hall ticket number, date of birth, caste, category, etc and proceed to pay the fee.
According to the information mentioned on the official website, SC, ST and PH candidates must pay Rs.500 whereas all other category candidates have to pay Rs.1000. They can do so using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking facilities. After paying the prescribed application fee, candidates must move to the next step – filling the application form.
To access the application form, candidates have to enter their payment reference ID, qualifying examination hall ticket no., mobile number and date of birth. After entering these details, candidates can proceed to filling the application form and submitting it. In the next step, candidates must check their payment status, click on the confirmation link and take a printout of that page. Candidates may also take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
