Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar issued a public notice on April 13, 2021, inviting eligible tenders to conduct the OUAT Common Entrance Examination (CET) 2021. According to the notice, eligible, sort-after tenders belonging to IT firms are invited to conduct the entrance test. Moreover, these tenders must have a strong technical background and stable financial abilities. Bidders are instructed to apply on or before May 07, 2021, up to 5:00 pm on the official website ouat.nic.in.
OUAT 2021 entrance exam shall be conducted through the computer-based format for admission to UG and PG admissions. The last date for bidding applications is May 07, 2021. Hence, the registration process for the entrance exam shall begin after the bidding is over. As per the notice, OUAT also possesses the authority to cancel the tender without providing any substantial reason.
Based on last year’s prospectus, candidates applying for UG programmes have to submit the OUAT Form A and Form B. However, Form B shall be made available after the declaration of test results. Hence, in the initial stage, candidates have to fill Form A to register for the exam. To fill the form, candidates must access the “admission” section of the official website ouat.nic.in. Thereafter, they must click on the “student login” option enter their credentials like email Id, mobile number, the OTP received and the captcha code.
After logging-in, candidates must click on the “Apply” option to fill the OUAT Form A. They are required to fill-in details like Aadhaar or Aadhaar Enrolment number, and other personal information. Additionally, they must upload their recent, passport-size photograph and signature in the jpg or jpeg format.
According to last year’s prospectus, candidates had to pay Rs.1400 as an application fee to appear for the entrance test. They were allowed to pay the prescribed fee using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net banking facility. After paying this non-refundable fee, candidates received a confirmation message on their registered email ID and mobile number. Similar fee charges and payment methods are expected to apply for OUAT 2021, candidates should wait till the detailed brochure is out.
Last year’s, the candidates applying for PG programmes had to click on the “Student Login” option on the homepage of ouat.nic.in, to apply. In the window displaying the “Apply” option, candidates were instructed to select “Post-Graduate Programme 2020”. Thereafter, they were expected to follow the registration steps as mentioned for UG registration. Last year, PG students had to only fill one form as opposed to two forms for UG students. This procedure may or may not remain the same for the current year. Candidates are expected to receive more clarity on the OUAT 2021 registration process and exam schedule post May 07, 2021.
