TS LAWCET 2021 Result Date and Time Announced; Same for PGLCET

The candidates willing to pursue law courses can check their TS LAWCET and PGLCET 2021 results on September 14, 2021, at 6 PM.

Osmania University, Hyderabad is going to announce the TS LAWCET and PGLCET 2021 result on the official website, lawcet.tsche.ac.in on September 14, 2021, at 6 PM. The candidates who have appeared for the TS LAWCET and PGLCET 2021 exams can check their results using the registration number and hall ticket number.

The LAWCET 2021 result comprises of candidate’s details, marks scored in each section, aggregate marks scored, candidate’s rank final qualifying status. The candidates who score marks equivalent to minimum qualifying marks are considered successful.

The TS LAWCET 2021 exam was conducted on August 23, 2021, and the PGLCET exam was held on August 24, 2021. The candidates who successfully clear the TS LAWCET exam will be eligible to take admission in the LLB (3 years or 5 years). While the candidates who successfully clear the PGLCET exam stand a chance to get admission to the LLM course.

According to the official brochure, the minimum qualifying mark is 35% of the total marks, i.e. 42 marks for the TS LAWCET exam. At the same time, the qualifying marks for TS PGLCET is 25% of the total marks i.e. 30 marks. The minimum qualifying marks is not applicable for the SC/ST candidates.

The authorities also release the rank card for the LAWCET 2021 and the final merit list is prepared on the basis of the rank scored in the exam. The merit list is prepared on the basis of descending order of the marks. In case, there is a tie between marks of two students, then the following criteria can be used to solve the same:

Based on the rank and score, a merit list is prepared in descending order for the counselling process.

  • At first, the marks of part c in Lawcet is considered, the candidates who score high marks are kept on the merit list
  • If the tie still persists, the marks of Part-B are considered 
  • At last, the age factor is considered to break a tie and the candidates senior in age get a place on the merit list

The candidates who are successful in the online exam will be called to attend the counselling round conducted by Osmania University. The registration for the counselling usually starts 1 month after the result declaration. Like for the last year, the result was declared on November 06, 2020, and the registration for counselling started on December 14, 2020. With this, we can expect that this year counselling registration can start from October 06, 2021.
