National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the ICAR result date 2021 soon on the official website, icar.nta.ac.in. As per reports, the authorities will release the result for all the courses tentatively in October 2021. Once the result is released, the candidates need to use their application number and date of birth to check the same.
The ICAR AIEEA UG 2021 exam is scheduled from September 07 to September 09, 2021. While the ICAR PG/PhD 2021 exam is going to be held on September 17, 2021. Over the years, the answer key of ICAR is released at least 1 month after the exam. This implies that this year ICAR answer key can be announced between October 8 to October 10, 2021.
The ICAR result is released at least 10 to 12 days after the answer key has been announced. Like for the year 2020, the answer key was announced on October 20, 2020, and the result was announced on November 02, 2020. With this, we can deduce that this year’s result can be announced by October 20, 2021.
The agency prepares the merit list on the basis of the rank scored by the candidates in the exam. The ranks list is prepared by considering the marks scored by the candidate in all the subjects applicable to a particular course. After this, the marks along with the candidate’s roll number is placed in descending order. Since the exam is been conducted in multiple shifts hence, the agency normalizes the score using the normalization formula. For normalizing, the score of a particular session is divided by total candidates multiplied by 100.
In case, two students score equal marks after normalization, then the agency uses a pre-determined set of rules to break the tie as mentioned in the space below:
- At first, the marks scored in the main subjects Mathematics or Biology or Agriculture are considered
- If the tie still persists, then the candidate who has fewer negative marks is chosen
- After this, the age factor is taken into consideration and the candidate who is senior is selected
- If a tie is still there, the class 10th exam score or CGPA is taken into consideration and the candidate with higher marks is chosen
The candidates who qualify for the ICAR exam at any level need to attend the counselling process after the exam is over. The admission is provided on the basis of the final merit list, mark score, seat availability, and preferred college.
