Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education that has released the TS Inter 1st Year exam timetable earlier last month. However, later NTA announced the revised JEE Main 2022 exam dates citing that there was a clash between the dates. The dates of the two exams still clash on two occasions, i.e. on April 25 and April 29. Hence, now Sabitha Indira Reddy, the Minister of Education in Hyderabad has come forward and said that the board is thinking of revising the exam dates to resolve the clash.
Rescheduling of TS Inter exams to avoid clash with JEE Main
As reported in a local daily, the minister said that in order to address the issue of exam dates overlapping with the JEE Mains exam 2022, rescheduling of the exam dates is being considered. The TS Intermediate 1st year exam is scheduled from April 22 to May 11, 2022. At the same time, JEE Mains 2022 will now be held from April 21 to 29, 2022, and May 01 to 04, 2022. This date revision is going to be helpful for candidates who are simultaneously preparing for both the examination.
The board had earlier revised the dates for TS Inter 2nd year exams to avoid clash with the JEE Main exam Session in April. However, the agency re-revised the dates citing the class 12th exams being scheduled in the same time frame for multiple state and private boards. As of now, the education minister has just made the announcement, the final decision along with the exam dates are likely to be released in the upcoming days. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep in touch with the official website of the board, tsbie.cgg.gov.
The revised exam date along with the TS Intermediate admit card is expected to be announced soon. Keeping in mind the exams, the board has earlier notified the revised syllabus for all the subjects on the official website. The board has stated that the exams shall be held with merely 70% of the syllabus. Candidates can get their copies of the syllabus for the different subjects from the official website.
