Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, TSBIE is going to commence the TS Inter 1st year exams from October 25, 2021. The board has released the timetable for the TS Inter 1st year exam on the official website, tsbie.cgg.gov.in.
The TS Inter 1st year exam is going to be held for a duration of 2 hours from 9 am to 12 pm. It will be conducted from October 25 to November 02, 2021.
However, this decision of the Telangana Board of conducting the TS Inter 1st year exam is not going well with the students and parents at the moment. The reason behind this opposition is that earlier, the board promoted the students studying in Inter 1st year to Inter 2nd year on the basis of their performance in practical exams. However, as they have been preparing for their TS Inter 2nd year exams, this new exam notice has created a frenzy amongst the students. Since they are finding it difficult to prepare for both the exams simultaneously.
In a bid to express their anger, several Twitter trends are been conducted by the student’s body with the hashtag, #cancelinterexams, to exert media pressure on the board to drop their plan of conducting the TS Inter 1st year exams. However, as of now, the board has not expressed its view regarding these Twitter trends and has maintained a deep silence on this matter.
The Telangana board has also announced that the exams for TS Inter 1st year are going to be held with only 70% of the total syllabus announced earlier. The candidates can check the reduced syllabus for all the subjects relevant to the stream opted by them for the TS Inter 1st year exams and prepare accordingly.
According to the TS Inter board, approx. 59,000 students of TS Inter 1st year studying in around 380 government junior colleges of the state will be called to appear in the examination. Also, TS Inter 1st year hall tickets for all the eligible candidates shall be released soon on the official website.
The TS Inter board officials have also notified that they are very serious regarding the safety of the students amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, all SOPs and necessary precautions will be followed at the exam centre. The officials also said that they will ensure that the benches are sanitised and separate desks are assigned to the candidates.
