Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET) 2021 is likely to begin from the first week of August 2021, preferable from August 05 to 09, 2021. While the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is yet to make an announcement, these tentative dates have been provided by reputed newspapers like The Hindu and NDTV. According to their reports, the state entrance exam shall be scheduled on the mentioned dates if the online slots are made available by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The Chairman of TSCHE Papi Reddy stated clarified that the council has already prepared a roadmap to conduct the entrance exam on fresh dates. The council shall get more clarity once it conducts a meeting with Sabitha Indra Reddy, the state education minister on Friday, June 11, 2021. Once a discussion is conducted with the education minister, the Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao shall be approached for final consent.
Previously, TS EAMCET 2021 was scheduled to be conducted from July 05 to 09, 2021. The medical (other than MBBS course) and agriculture entrance exam was to be conducted on July 05 and 06, 2021. However, engineering entrance test shall be organised on July 07, 08 and 09, 2021. The state Inter exams or Class 12 board exams were cancelled on Wednesday, June 09, 2021. Hence, authorities want to provide candidates a preparation time of 6 weeks before commencing the TS EAMCET 2021 examination. Every year, the state maintains a gap of six weeks between the two exams. This year should not be an exception to this practice.
The TSCHE chairman further stated that TCS is likely to provide the exam slots in the first week of August 2021. Once this is confirmed, the remaining exam process shall pan out smoothly. However, TCS must also ensure that the state entrance exam does not clash with the remaining two session of JEE Main 2021. While the fresh dates are yet to be announced, NTA is likely to take a final call this month. As per reports, JEE Main is scheduled to either in the months of July – August or August – September 2021. More clarity on the same is awaited, as of now.
While TS EAMCET 2021 will reportedly be conducted from August 05 to 09, 2021, TS Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2021 is likely to be held on August 03, 2021. Similarly, the TS Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2021 shall be organised from August 11 to 14, 2021. Other entrance exams shall be organised subsequently in August rather than July 2021. Hence, TS PGLCET 2021 and TS LAWCET shall be held on August 23, 2021. TS EdCET 2021 is likely to be organised on August 24 and 25, 2021. However, as per reports, TS PECET 2021 revised exam date is yet to be announced.
