Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) has advertised 1500 vacancies for the post of Lower Division Clerk (Group C) in various departments of the state government of Tripura. A detailed recruitment notification is published in this regard at the website employment.tripura.gov.in. Candidates who have passed Class 10th exam and meet other eligibility criteria can apply for the recruitment online at the aforementioned website. The application process is starting on December 19, 2020, and will close on January 30, 2021.
As per the detailed Advertisement No. 01/2020, the vacancies are for Non-Gazetted posts in Group C. The vacancies are available in different departments of the Tripura state government. Selected candidates will be appointed to the revised scale of pay at Cell-1 of Level-7 of the State Pay Matrix, 2018. The vacancies will be filled up on a fixed pay basis.
Candidates are advised to go through the detailed notification and ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions specified in the advertisement. Applicants must have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik) or equivalent examination. There is also limitations on the age of the applicants. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. In addition, the maximum age of the applicants must be 41 years as on December 31, 2020. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable as per government norms in vogue.
Applicants must also have knowledge of computer and typing skills on computer. Candidates must have a minimum accurate typing speed of 30 words per minute on computer in order to apply. In addition, for selection to Bengali typist post, candidates must have a minimum speed of 25 words per minute in Bengali on Computer.
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written test and interview. There will also be a skill test for the selection of candidates. The written test will be conducted for two papers which will have objective and descriptive questions in the Paper I and only objective type questions in Paper-II. Candidates will be allowed 2 hours to complete each paper. In addition, the interview will also consist of 30 marks. Skill test will be qualifying in nature. Candidates are advised to refer to the notification for the complete details of the exam.
The application process is conducted online at the official website only. Hard copies of application sent by post or any other mode will not be accepted. A fee of Rs 300 must be paid by Unreserved category of candidates while SC/ST candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200. PwD candidates are exempted from the payment of any fees.
