Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) is conducting recruitment process for 8826 vacancies of Gr II Police Constable, Gr II Jail Warders, Firemen. The last date to apply for these posts is today that is April 8, 2019.
Candidates can apply at tnusrbonline.org. Upon visiting the website, candidates will see two sections – one for Common – Recruitment 2019 (Gr II Police Constables, Gr II Jail Warders, Firemen) and the other for Recruitment For The Post Of Sub-Inspector Of Police (TK, AR, TSP) – 2019. To apply for 8826 TNUSRB vacancies, click on application form link in first section. Here, click on Create New User link. Follow the sign up and registration process to apply.
There are 2465 vacancies allocated for women / transgender in Constable Grade II, 5962 are for Constable Grade II, 208 for Grade II Jail Warders, and 191 are for firemen.
Those who have applied shall be issued admit card or hall tickets. Candidates have to undergo stages of selection that include written examination, physical measurement test, endurance test, physical efficiency test. Special marks shall also be allotted.
The board shall release dates of TNUSRB Constable Recruitment 2019 exam, PET / PST. Candidates must stay in touch with the official website to get exam dates, admit card, answer key, result, merit list.
Candidates can check whether they will pass the physical measurement test beforehand by knowing the requisite physical measurements from the TNUSRB Constable Recruitment 2019 notification and checking their own measurements. With regards to the physical efficiency tests and endurance tests, candidates are advised to note down the tasks they will have to perform and practice for them.
Applicant must have passed Tamil language in class 10 level. Also, they should be between 18 to 24 years of age as on July 1. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
The written exam will be of 80 marks, of 80 minutes. All questions will be objective type. General Knowledge questions will be of 50 marks. Psychology questions will be of 30 marks. Candidates must score at least 28 marks in order to qualify. It is also advisable to go through official notification which is in Tamil language to get complete idea of the selection process.
Besides Constable, TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2019 has also started. The official website for its application is the same. Last date to submit its online application is April 19, 2019. In this, the selection shall be on basis of written examination of 70 marks, physical efficiency test of 15 marks, viva voce of 10 marks, and special marks of 5 marks. However departmental quota candidates will undergo written examination of 85 marks, physical efficiency test is exempted, viva voce of 10 marks, and special marks of 5 marks.
