Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TN MRB) has published a recruitment notification to recruit eligible candidates fr the post of Physician Assistant and Fitter grade-II. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download the official notification from mrb.tn.gov.in. Refer to the Notification No. 03/MRB/2020 for (Fitter Grade and Notification No.04/MRB/2020 for Physician Assistant. The conducting body has announced 101 vacancies for Fitter and Physician Assistant. The applications procedure for the announced posts starts from July 25, 2020. Candidates can submit their forms online on or before the last date i.e. August 16, 2020.
Candidates who are shortlisted for the announced posts get posted at Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Service. Those have selected as Skilled Assistant Grade-II (Fitter Grade II) receives Rs. 19,500 – 62,000 as per month salary. Aspirants appointed as Physician Assistant they get Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400 (Pay Matrix Level-11).
To apply for the announced posts, candidates must satisfy the age limit as suggested in the notification. The minimum age for both the posts is 18 years. The upper age limit for OC candidates is 30 years. However, age relaxation to ST / SCA/ SC/ MBC & DNC/ BCM /BC is provided as per the government rules. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification to know more about the age relaxations.
Candidates must have passed 10th standard and have National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for Fitter. To apply for Physician Assistant, candidates must possess Degree in B.Sc.,(Allied Health Science) or Degree in B.S., (Physician Assistant).
The applications form should be submitted through the online procedure only. Candidates have to visit the official website, mrb.tn.gov.in to submit the form. It can be submitted in majorly in two stages which are registration and form submission. Candidates have to upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature as per the specification suggested in the notification. Application fee of Rs. 500/- should be paid to submit the application form. However, SC / SCA / ST / DAP(PH) have to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.
Candidates are selected for Physician Assistant based on the educational qualification. For the selection, 50% marks are allocated Degree, 30% marks for 12th standard and 20% marks for 10th standard. To select candidates for Fitter grade, 60% marks are allocated to Certificate / Diploma Course and 40% marks to 10th standard. There is no interview round for this Physician Assistant and Fitter exam.
