Once the TISS NET 2021 results are declared, the qualified or shortlisted candidates have to appear for the next steps of the selection process. The selection procedure comprises two stages. The first stage is the TISSNET 2021 examination which was conducted on February 20, 2021. The next stage includes two steps which evaluate the interest and suitability of candidates for the opted programme.
The first step of stage 2 is the TISS Programme Aptitude test (TISS PAT) which is of 45 minutes duration. Further details about the exam shall be declared soon after the results come out. The second step is the Online Personal Interview (OPI). TISS shall announce the OPI schedule and notify the shortlisted candidates about the same.
Candidates must note that they can attend the OPI step only after appearing for the TISS-PAT examination. Those who do not appear for the TISS PAT examination shall not be eligible to attend the interview round. Names of such candidates shall be automatically removed from the OPI list.
The TISS merit list shall be calculated based on the aggregate final scores of shortlisted candidates. TISS NET and OPI are for 100 marks and carry 30% weightage each. The TISS PAT exam is for 50 marks and carries 40% weightage in the final score.
Based on the test scores, two merit lists shall be prepared. The first merit list is the open (unreserved) merit list (OML) determined based on the scores of candidates without considering any reservation category. Next, using the candidates in the OML, a category-wise merit list (CML) shall be released. Moreover, all reservation rules shall be used during the final merit list or seat-allotment stage.
