National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 official answer key soon. It is expected that it might get released on March 21, 2021. The answer key shall be released for the March session, the second cycle of the examination conducted on March 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2021. An answer key will be made available to download from the official website i.e., jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, this is just the provisional answer key. Candidates shall be given a chance to challenge the provisional answer key by paying a certain fee.
JEE Main 2021 March cycle answer key is expected to release on March 21, 2021, as per speculations, because NTA usually releases the provisional answer key within 2-3 days after the exam. To download the answer key, candidates must visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. On reaching the home page, they have to find the answer key link, and click on it. After clicking on it, candidates have to add their Application No. and DOB along with the security pin. Then, they have to click on the Submit button to view the JEE Main Answer Key.
NTA releases the provisional answer key of the questions along with a public notice on the official website. Candidates are provided with the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer keys. However, they must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.200 as processing charges for each question challenged.
Candidates must note that NTA shall consider only paid challenges made during the specified period. These challenges must be raised through the key challenge link available on NTA’s website. Authorities shall not consider challenges which are raised without any substantial justification or evidence. Moreover, challenges raised on any other website other than jeemain.nta.nic.in shall not be considered.
Students must note that NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further arguments shall be entertained. Moreover, authorities shall not inform candidates individually about their challenges raised. Subject experts shall analyse the challenges and the final answer key shall be released subsequently.
NTA shall release the final answer key after accommodating all the required changes in the provisional answer key. Based on this final answer key, authorities shall release the JEE Main 2021 March cycle results. NTA shall evaluate the MCQs of BE, B.Tech, B.Plan and B.Arch using the final answer keys. The raw marks thus, calculated shall be used to evaluate the JEE Main 2021 results.
Authorities shall disclose the recorded responses on the official website for 2-3 days before displaying the JEE Main 2021 results. Once the results are declared, no re-evaluation or re-checking facility shall be provided to candidates. Subsequently, registration for the JEE Main 2021 April cycle shall begin.
