After delaying the announcement of the TISSNET 2021 result earlier, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences has once again postponed the result declaration date. TISSNET 2021 result, which was scheduled to release today at the official website tiss.edu, has been deferred to March 25, 2021. This is the second time that the Institute has delayed the result announcement of the entrance exam. The result was initially scheduled to release on March 16, 2021. It was however postponed to March 19, 2021, earlier. Once the result releases, candidates who took the test will be able to check their scorecard through candidate login.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts the TISSNET exam for admission to MA, M.Sc, Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed courses. The TISSNET CBT is the initial screening test for admission intake. Once qualified, candidates have to appear in the TISSPAT 2021 or TISSMAT 2021 depending on the program they want admission to. TISSNET 2021 was conducted by the Institute in Maharashtra on February 20, 2021. The result has been postponed to March 25, 2021, keeping aspiring candidates waiting for some more days before they can know their official score.
TISSNET result is declared through the official website of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) only. The result releases in the form of a scorecard of individual candidates who took the test in February 2021. As such, the scorecards are issued through individual candidate login. The same registered email ID and password set during online registrations for TISSNET 2021 must be used to login to tiss.edu and check the result as per schedule. TISSNET result indicates apart from the score, the cut-off marks, qualifying status for subsequent selection stages, registration number & name of the candidate and the program selected by the candidate.
It may be noted that the TISSNET exam is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission to PG courses offered by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. However, those who seek admission to HRM&LR and ODCL programs at TISS have to qualify through the TISSMAT exam after TISSNET. Candidates seeking admission to other programs have to qualify through the TISSPAT exam after TISSNET.
Once the result releases, candidates will be able to know their qualifying status for the subsequent selection stage. As such, candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website for further announcements after the release of the result. TISS admissions are concluded through the final Online Personal Interview (OPI) stage.
