Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has opened its doors for admission of students for the academic session 2020-21. Offering multiple programs at UG and PG levels, TISS has published a combined notification for all. The application forms for each program are separate.
TISS admission 2020 is divided broadly among six categories of courses. For some, online application form is already available and will in fact end on November 25, 2019. For few others the registrations shall open in first week of November that is this week. And for rest, registration process will commence on December 1, 2019. Precise schedule is as follows.
Admission to over 50 masters programs, including the coveted MA program is through a common application. Despite being a MA program, a large population of MBA aspirants apply for the TISSNET exam, for the 2020 version of which as well as other PG programs, TISS released online application form on October 25, 2019. The last date to apply for these programs is November 25, 2019.
Then we come to M.Phil. TISS offers the said program at multiple campuses. And its application form will be available from this week.
For TISS PhD separate registration process shall be carried out, starting this month.
Another one of the famous TISS programs is BA hons in social work offered at TISS Tuljapur. Its online application form will be available from December 1, 2019.
Same goes for BA in social sciences, one more coveted UG program of the varsity. However this program is offered both at Tuljapur and Guwahati.
TISS Mumbai and Tuljapur are both offering short term certificate and diploma programs. Registration for them too shall start on December 1, 2019.
Depending upon which campus offers which course, application process is common for all the campuses of TISS established in Mumbai, Chennai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati. Candidates can apply for all programs through the official website admissions.tiss.edu.
In order to apply, one has to go to the website and choose the program to apply for admission. After that, they have to click on the “How to Apply” given on the left side of the window. There on the new page, candidates need to read all the information and then select the online application system link. Following which, one has to complete the online form and submit it.
