CBSE to Keep Double Encrypted Question Papers as Backup

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will continue with the hard copy of the question papers. Earlier, the board had decided to send the digital question papers to the exam centre to avoid the paper leak. But now, the CBSE board has stuck to the previous plan i.e. the hard copy of the question papers.

As the solution of the paper leak, the board modified the question paper availability. CBSE Board launched a successful pilot tested double encrypted question papers. According to the scheme, the question papers were printed 30 minutes before the board exams. But now, this process will be taken as a backup. So, as per the emergency measure, the board will use the digital question papers as backup from 2019 session exams.

In the compartment exams for class 10, the CBSE Board used this strategy in the month of July 2018. To reduce human intervention in the delivery of question papers to the centres. After the question paper leak, the proposal was received by the ministry from a seven-member high-powered committee set up in April 2018. According to the scheme, the question papers were sent to the exam centers. Then the school principals used to unlock the question papers with the password. After that, the question papers were used to get printed and distributed to the students.

However, for the forthcoming the board exams, the question papers will be available in the hard copy and the digital question papers will be used as the backup.

The CBSE Date Sheet 2019 was released on December 23, 2018. First, the exams will be held for the vocational subjects and after that, the board will conduct the exams for the core subjects.

The board exams for class 10 will be held from February 21 to March 29, 2019. The first exam will be of e-Publishing and e-Office while the last exam will be conducted for Social Science.

For class 12, the board will conduct the exams from February 15 to April 04, 2019. The practical exams will be held from January 16 to February 15, 2019. For class 12, the board has made some changes in the exam dates. The board exams for Computer science and Informatics Practice was scheduled on March 28 and it has been shifted to April 02, 2019. The exams which were listed on April 02, 2019 will now be conducted on April 04, 2019.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is popularly known as CBSE. It is the board of education for public and private schools. The CBSE board is the national level board. There are many schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Private schools and other are affiliated with CBSE.
