The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) will be releasing the admit cards for the nationwide entrance examination or GS 2022 today. Candidates who will be appearing for the test have to download the admit cards from the official website – univ.tifr.res.in. The entrance test is scheduled for December 12, 2021, across 38 cities in the country. However, the exact location or venue of the examination centre will be mentioned on the downloaded admit cards.
TIFR GS 2022 admit cards will be available to download via the candidate login portal of the official website. Here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of TIFR – univ.tifr.res.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Student Logon’ option on the left-hand side of the page
Step 3- Under the ‘Already Registered’ heading, press the ‘Click Here’ button
Step 4- Enter the user ID and password
Step 5- Click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 6- Find the option for downloading the TIFR GS 2022 admit cards and save the hall tickets.
It must be noted that these steps for downloading the hall tickets are based on the process that was followed so far. They may or may not remain the same. So far the schedule is concerned, there will be two shifts over which the candidates will have to appear for the test. The morning session will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Computer & Systems Sciences, and Biology (Wildlife & Conservation) are scheduled for this time. On the other hand, there will be two subjects in the afternoon session. Examination for Biology will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM while Mathematics will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The entire admission procedure starts with an online test that will be held on December 12. Depending on the subject or program, there will be an interview or a second written test only for the shortlisted candidates. Although the exact dates for the interview have not been announced yet, it is likely that they will be held during the March-May 2022 duration. The concerned authority will be releasing the results for the entrance test by the end of January 2022. Candidates who will be shortlisted for interviews are going to be intimated via email.
