Indian Army is yet to release the Technical Entry Scheme 46 Application Form 2021 this year although earlier, it was reportedly set to release by the end of August 2021. The Indian Army’s TES is a recruitment process of 10+2 male Indian candidates for Commissioning in the Army. The official notification and Application Form is now expected to release soon as per announcements by the Army. From this year, JEE Mains score has been made mandatory for recruitment through the Technical Entry Scheme of the Indian Army.
As per reports, the Indian Army has intimated earlier the expected date of release of the TES 46 application form and official notification. The official notification and application form releases online on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in as per schedule. The Army displayed earlier that the TES 46 application form will release during July and August 2021. Although the Indian Army has not specified an exact date of release of the application form, today being the last but one day of August 2021, it is expected that the application form and official notification can release anytime now.
Only male candidates who comply with the nationality requirements are eligible for recruitment through TES 46. Candidates must be within the age range of 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Besides, one must have passed 10+2 final exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and having secured 60% of more marks in aggregate.
From TES 46, JEE Main score has been made mandatory by the Indian Army. This means that only those candidates are eligible to apply who have appeared and cleared this year’s JEE Main 2021 exam. The final sessions of the JEE Main 2021 are currently ongoing with three day’s of the examination left to be held on August 31, 2021, and on September 01 & 02, 2021.
Applicants of TES 46 are shortlisted for SSB Interviews on the basis of their aggregate merit in 10+2 academics and JEE Main 2021 score. The shortlisted candidates have to appear in the SSB interviews, which are conducted over a period of 05 days. The first day of the SSBs act as a screening test and is known as Stage 1. Only those who qualify through the first stage are allowed to take part in Stage 2, which is conducted over the period of the next 04 days.
The final selection of the qualifying candidates is however done after successfully passing Army medical tests and document verification.
