The Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE) has released the Diploma results of the regular examinations for the first, second and third years at result.hsbte.com. The examinations were conducted in August, 2021. Students will get the results in the form of a marksheet containing both the theory and practical marks. Marks in the theory paper will be out of 100 while the same for the practical paper will be both 100 and 50.

To get access to the online results, candidates can follow these steps:

Step 1- Visit result.hsbte.com and the result window will appear

Step 2- In the space provided, enter the roll number and the displayed letters

Step 3- Click on the ‘Search’ button and the result will be displayed

Step 4- Crosscheck the details before downloading the result

Step 5- Take a printout of the same for future reference.

Students belonging to the first, second and third years (Main) and supply semester can now check their results from the official website. The results were supposed to be out much before but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. After the declaration of the results, it was seen that many students have secured less marks in a particular subject and are thereby asked to reappear for the examination.

According to unofficial sources, it is said that grace marks up to ‘05’ will be provided to students who have cleared all subjects but have secured less marks in one or two of them. Nevertheless, students who have been instructed to re-appear for a particular subject, also have the option to apply for rechecking. The last date to apply for the same is September 01, 2021 by 5 PM. The required charge to apply for rechecking is Rs 350 and has to be paid to the college/institute directly.

Experts advise that only those students who are confident about getting more marks must apply for rechecking. Otherwise, they can simply take the re-appear examination that will tentatively be held in the month of September, 2021. On the other hand, HSBTE also allows students to get a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheets. To get one, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 by 5 PM of September 01, 2021. Note that if a candidate does not pass in the rechecking stage will have to take the re-appear examination.

The respective college/institute of the students will have to provide data regarding re-evaluation/rechecking or photocopy of the answer sheets on the PCA software. The HSBTE office will not receive any applications from the students directly. Moreover, the Board will also not entertain data from the institutes after the closing date.
