The Telangana Department of School Education has released a short notification regarding the commencement of the registration process of the Telangana Teacher Education Test (TS TET). As per the notification, the application process of TS TET will begin on March 25, 2022. The written examination of TS TET is scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2022. Candidates can apply for TS TET on the official website at tstet.cgg.gov.in.

TS TET 2022 Eligibility
Candidates can submit the TS TET application from March 25 to April 12, 2022. To be eligible to apply for the TS TET exam 2022:
- Candidates should have passed their graduation with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates having a B.El.Ed degree with at least 45% marks in the intermediate or higher secondary education or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for the TS TET 2022.
- Candidates with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2-year Diploma in Education with a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate or higher secondary or its equivalent.
- Candidates from SC/ST PwD and OBC categories have a relaxation of 5% marks.

How to apply for TS TET 2022
Candidates can apply for TS TET 2022 online on the official website. To apply for the same, candidates are advised to follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Visit the official website TS TET at tstet.cgg.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the Apply Online link on the homepage of the website.
Step 3: Enter the required details in the application form on the next page.
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online.
Step 6: Submit the application form of TS TET 2022 and take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Candidates must pay an application fee of ₹300 to apply for the TS TET exam 2022, and appear for a single paper or both papers. The TS TET exam consists of two papers. Paper I is conducted to find the eligible candidates to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 in schools under the Telangana government. Paper II is to find the eligible candidates to be teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both the papers are of 150 minutes duration. A total of 150 objective-based questions will be asked for 150 marks in both papers.
So far the qualifying marks are concerned, for the general category, it is 60% and above. On the contrary, for backward category (BCs) it is 50% and above, and for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum qualifying marks is 40% and above. Differently-abled candidates with 75% diability also have to score 40% or above for qualification.
