Anna University, Chennai has declared the results for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or TANCET 2022 today, i.e. June 09. Candidates who have appeared for the test can now check the results from the official website – tancet.annauniv.edu. The results have already been announced at 10 AM today. TANCET 2022 was conducted on May 14 and 15 for courses like MCA, MBA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan courses. To check the results, candidates will be required to use their email and password.
How to check?
The examination was conducted over two shifts. While the morning shift was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the second shift or the afternoon shift took place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. To know how to check the TANCET 2022 result, follow the steps given below.

Step 2- Scroll down and press the ‘Click Here’ button for checking the results
Step 3- A new page will open where one has to enter login credentials such as email, password and captcha
Step 4- Click on the ‘Login’ button and check the results.

It has been clearly mentioned that the candidates whose results have been withheld due to issues pertaining to photo and signature must clear the issues by sending emails to [email protected] along with the application number and registration number. The TANCET 2022 scorecard contains the rank, score and qualifying status of the candidates. Candidates who will qualify for the exam are going to be called for the counseling process. The dates for the same will be notified soon.
As per the exam authorities, the scorecards will be released ten days from the declaration of results. Anna University has mentioned that the scorecard will have to be produced by the candidates at the time of admission. However, in case the scorecard gets lost due to any reason, then candidates will be able to apply for a duplicate scorecard by paying an amount of Rs 100 via demand draft. This must be enclosed with a written request to the secretary of TANCET.
Normalisation Process
For assigning scores to the candidates, the authorities have used a normalization process. This is important to balance the scores of the candidates since the exams were held over different shifts. The normalization formula has been given below.
