Today, April 21, 2022, is the last date to register for the upcoming TANCET 2022 entrance examination. Anna University, Chennai, will be closing the online registration portal at 4:00 pm, as notified on the official website tancet.annauniv.edu. With just a few hours left for registration deadline, interested candidates still have time to fill and submit the online form. To their delight, the entire application process is being conducted online. Hence, there is no need to submit the form in-person or online.
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2022 is a state-level examination, being held for admission to postgraduate courses such as MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech., M.Arch and M.Plan. The test is scheduled on May 14 and 15, 2022, in the pen-and-paper format.
TANCET 2022 – Registration Deadline Extension
Anna University had begun the TANCET 2022 registration process from March 30, 2022, through the online mode. Initially, the process was set to end on April 18, 2022. However, the university decided on giving an additional 3-days’ time to fill and submit the online form. Accordingly, the following update was posted on tancet.annauniv.edu –

It is however, unlikely for the TANCET 2022 registration deadline to extend any further. So, without keeping such expectations in mind, candidates need to submit the form as soon as possible, before time runs out.
TANCET 2022 – Important Dates
As per official information, the TANCET 2022 entrance exam is scheduled on May 14 and 15, 2022. For MBA and MCA courses, the test will be held on May 14, 2022. Candidates opting for MCA need to give the test from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm while those interested in pursuing MBA need to appear from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. MCA Entrance exam for postgraduate courses like ME, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan shall be held the day after, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Candidates who successfully register for the TANCET 2022 entrance exam can download their admit cards starting May 02, 2022. However, this is just a tentative date and may differ, depending on the university’s decision. Aspirants are expected to carry a copy of their hall ticket to the exam centre and during admission process. So, candidates need to visit the official website for keeping track of the admit card release date.
