The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) will conclude the application process for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2022 tomorrow, on April 13, 2022. Aspiring candidates can apply for the TNTET on the official website of TRB at trb.tn.nic.in till 5 PM. The date of the written test of TN TET 2022 will be notified later on the official website. The application portal has been live since March 14, 2022.
TN TET 2022 – How to Apply?
The candidates who wish to apply for TN TET 2022 can apply for the exam from the official website of TN TRB. To apply for the exam candidates are advised to follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of TN TRB at trb.tn.nic.in
Step 2: Scroll down the website to find the link TAMILNADU TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TNTET) – 2022 -Online Application Form and click on it.
Step 3: On the next page click on New User.
Step 4: On the next page fill in the basic details to obtain the Registration Number and Password.
Step 5: Login using the credentials and fill in all the required details.,
Step 6: Upload all the required details and preview the application.
Step 7: If all the details entered are correct then submit the application for TN TET 2022.
Step 8: Take a printout of the final application for future reference.
Step 9: Pay the application fee for TN TET 2022.

Candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹500 to apply for the TNTET 2022. However, the application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SCA/PwD categories is ₹250. The application fee must be paid online before the deadline to complete the application process for TN TET.
TN TET Pattern and Eligibility
The TNTET 2022 consists of two papers. Paper I is the qualification exam to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 at various schools in the state and paper II is the qualification exam to be teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both the papers will have 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. To be eligible to apply for TN TET the candidates must have completed or be in the final year of the qualifying examinations prescribed in the official notification.
