Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) has released the notification seeking applications against 3457 vacancies of Talathi at the Panchayat Secretary level. The official notification comprising all the details is available on the official website,ojas.gujarat.gov.in and gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. The registration process has commenced today, January 28, 2022, and shall end on February 15, 2022.
As per the eligibility criteria, the candidate should have completed class 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum passing marks. Additionally, they should also have the basic operational knowledge of computers and proficiency in reading and writing Gujarati and Hindi. At the time of filling out the application form for GPSSB Talathi, the candidate’s age should be within the limit of 18 to 36 years. The candidates post getting a selection as Talathi in GPSSB shall be get paid a monthly emolument of INR Rs. 19,950.

Step 1: Visit the official website of GPSSB, ojas.gujarat.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the online application tab and choose the Apply online link.
Step 3: Next, choose the examination name and click on the apply now option.
Step 4: Register for the application form by entering personal details, educational details, addresses, language option, test centre, etc and upload the relevant documents in the prescribed limit.
Step 5: Save the details and move to the payment section to pay the prescribed application fee for this profile and submit the application form

The application fee prescribed for the unreserved category is INR 100 and all the reserved category students are exempted from paying the fee. The recommended size limit for scanned photographs and signatures is 15 kb.
Exam Pattern
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the written examination conducted by the authorities. The examination shall be held offline for a period of 60 minutes. There will be 100 questions from General Awareness and General Knowledge, English Language and Grammar, Gujarati Language and Grammar, and General Mathematics. The questions in the examination shall be asked in the multiple-choice based pattern and there is a provision of deducting 0.33 marks as negative marking for wrong answers.
