As per some newspaper reports, the Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the publication of the result of ICAR AIEEA Re-examination 2018. The re-examination for AIEEA UG and PG was held on August 18 and 19, 2018. It was expected that the result for the re-examination shall be announced on or before August 30, 2018, however, due to the floods in Kerala, the result might get delayed.
A writ petition was also filed by two candidates, Amal C T and Adarsh C K – for those who could not appear for the exam due to floods. Some candidates were allotted the test center at Kozikhode, but they were unable to report at the test venue due to heavy rain and landslide. The petitioners have made a request before the Minister for Agriculture to direct ICAR to postpone the exams.
The petitioners submitted that the ICAR ignored the appeal by the state government and went ahead with the decision to conduct the exam.
As per the official sources, many students complained that they did not even receive the information regarding the change in the exam center. Furthermore, no proper notice was issued as well. Only 40% of candidates could appear for the entrance test at Kochi.
ICAR has not yet issued any notification or commented regarding this. The students are praying that exam gets canceled and a re-exam is conducted again. While admitting the writ petition, Justice Mustaque passed an order granting an interim stay for a period of three weeks. Hence, the publication of the results of the entrance exam which was held all over the country in 56 centers will be withheld.
On August 25, 2018, ICAR published a notice on their official website, that the candidates need to update the educational qualification for the qualifying exam. The last date was August 26, 2018. failing which ICAR may withhold the release of result for such candidates.
A lot has been happening in ICAR AIEEA 2018 examination. First, the exam was canceled due to technical issues at some test centers, and now due to floods in Kerala, many were able to not to give the test. However, one disappointing part was that in such a scenario, the exam was still conducted and many students suffered. Now all these students hope that a re-exam should be held again for them.
What do you think about the re-examination of ICAR AIEEA 2018? Was that a wise decision of ICAR to conduct the exam knowing what’s been happening in Kerala? Let us know in the comment section below.
Yes re-exam definitely………….
Re exam is must if the question for Kerala in re exam is though then they wont get much score
The re-examination is very much necessary for the willing candidates of flood affected area of Kerala, not for all. And the cost of examination for the students as well as for the Govt. also, should keep in mind. Percentile system of JEE may be followed in this case. A quick and fruitful decession should be taken by HC and ICAR to avoid time lapse.
In our view, only the cancellation of the Kerala examinations and the re-examinations were conducted so that the rest of the examiner could save money and time.

If one more entrance exam will be organised by ICAR, then definitely that should be for all the candidates of the country. As ICAR’s exam is the national level examination, the question paper must be similar for all the candidates in each subject group or discipline. How can only a single state candidates appear in the same exam with a different question set? Because, all these are the entrance exams and the seats allocated for the ICAR’s candidates are very much fixed in each university. Now, if the exam will be conducted only for the pupils of Kerala, it will be seriously unethical from the legal standpoint. There will be non justice surely either with the pupils of Kerala or with rest of the candidates. So, it will be a very safe decision for ICAR to cancel out the last re-exam and organize the new exam as soon as possible, so that all the candidates will appear in the exam with the same question set.
I do not want to take any exams because students will not be able to apply for a second term or two or other exams for the first time, but they do not have enough knowledge for the Kerala State students.
it is too late now ,it cannot be repeat again
ICAR has done a wrong thing by conducting the exams on scheduled date. Now, since the exams conducted for the second time, ICAR should conduct a re-exam only for the candidates of Kerala who have attended the first exam and could not attend the exams. This should be conducted at the earliest and results should be declared as early as possible.
no, the reexam should not be held again in all centres. It should be held only in Kerala.
In my opinion there should be re examination only for Kerala. And the question paper should be equally though so that everyone gets a fair chance to qualify the examination. It would be not justified as well as sensible enough that the whole country suffers only for one state. Its my modest request to icar to take effective steps as soon as possible and declare the results as we are all facing a lot of problems due to delay in declaration of results.
As a student under ICAR, it must be accepted that natural disasters are totally unavoidable. But ICAR must take the decision as early as possible to conduct the exam only for Kerala students and publish the results as early as possible….

As Icar’s exam is national level exam so, there is no any right for different questions for different state. The question papers must be similar for all candidates in each subject group. So, icar plz cancel the re-exam. Then again conduct new exam for all students in same questions.
Jo karna hai jaldi karo ….time barbaad kyu kar rahe ho faltoo.mere khayal se ICAR ko ab exaam is saal karana hi nahi chahiye ….kya drama laga rakha hai
Jo ayega muh utha ke chala ayega stay order le kar ke
Iski kya guaranty hai
Ki ab reexaam kara bhi diya jaye
To kuch aur drama nahi hoga
Kal ko koi aur pettition dakhil kar dega
