As per some newspaper reports, the Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the publication of the result of ICAR AIEEA Re-examination 2018. The re-examination for AIEEA UG and PG was held on August 18 and 19, 2018. It was expected that the result for the re-examination shall be announced on or before August 30, 2018, however, due to the floods in Kerala, the result might get delayed.
A writ petition was also filed by two candidates, Amal C T and Adarsh C K – for those who could not appear for the exam due to floods. Some candidates were allotted the test center at Kozikhode, but they were unable to report at the test venue due to heavy rain and landslide. The petitioners have made a request before the Minister for Agriculture to direct ICAR to postpone the exams.
The petitioners submitted that the ICAR ignored the appeal by the state government and went ahead with the decision to conduct the exam.
As per the official sources, many students complained that they did not even receive the information regarding the change in the exam center. Furthermore, no proper notice was issued as well. Only 40% of candidates could appear for the entrance test at Kochi.
ICAR has not yet issued any notification or commented regarding this. The students are praying that exam gets canceled and a re-exam is conducted again. While admitting the writ petition, Justice Mustaque passed an order granting an interim stay for a period of three weeks. Hence, the publication of the results of the entrance exam which was held all over the country in 56 centers will be withheld.
On August 25, 2018, ICAR published a notice on their official website, that the candidates need to update the educational qualification for the qualifying exam. The last date was August 26, 2018. failing which ICAR may withhold the release of result for such candidates.
A lot has been happening in ICAR AIEEA 2018 examination. First, the exam was canceled due to technical issues at some test centers, and now due to floods in Kerala, many were able to not to give the test. However, one disappointing part was that in such a scenario, the exam was still conducted and many students suffered. Now all these students hope that a re-exam should be held again for them.
What do you think about the re-examination of ICAR AIEEA 2018? Was that a wise decision of ICAR to conduct the exam knowing what’s been happening in Kerala? Let us know in the comment section below.
Icar ka result kab update hoga
The first exam was conducted on 23/06/2018, which was cancelled because of the Madras High Court. Then the re-exam should have been conducted in the month of July instead of August, 18-19. The re-exam was already delayed by one month, which could have been avoided. Also, the result of the re-exam has also been delayed due to the stay by the Kerala High Court. The stay is for 3 weeks, which is a vary long period, which may cause the counselling process to be started after Diwali or Next year. It is very poor planning on the part of ICAR, which might be because of the courts’ order.
No,it is impossible to conduct icar exam again since it is high time now and if there is a reconduct of exam, then the authorities should inform about it atlleast 15 days before since the candidates want to prepare for it. Afterall it will take more time ahead to declare the result and for the three counselling process, so that classes cannot be started at the right time. It should be noted that there are candidates fromfkerala who appeared for the two examinations who were not under flood fury. So we must try to consider them and make a deciscion in favour of them. They also need justice. Most of them got examination centres very far awayafrom their respective places. So in my opinion a reconduct of examination should be given to those who couldn’t attend the exam. I request icar to take decision as soon as possible.
I just wanna know the results….as soon as possible
So that I can make a decision…
It is too late . declare the result as soon as possible
Re exam will have for those students which are not appeared in Examination not for all students.
