The Staff Selection Commission has published the revised result of the exam held for the Phase 7 recruitment. In an official notice published at the website of the SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in, the Commission has indicated that pertaining to the post category number NR16219 included in the Phase 7 recruitment of the SSC, several male candidates applied. However, the post i.e. Girl Cadet Instructor is reserved for female candidates only. Consequently, 08 male candidates were shortlisted in the result of the aforementioned recruitment exam for the post of Girl Cadet Instructor. As a result, the SSC has published a newly revised result at its website which includes 03 additional candidates replacing the 08 male candidates.

Staff Selection Commission conducted the Computer Based Examination (CBT) between October 14 to 18, 2019. The Phase 7 recruitment, notified through advertisement number Phase-VII/2019/Selection Posts, included among various other posts, 02 vacancies for Girl Cadet Instructor (GCI). However, the vacancies in this particular post category are reserved for female candidates having a Graduate degree and meeting other specified eligibility conditions. It has now been observed by the SSC that several male applicants also applied for the post. Subsequently, in the result released, 08 of the total of 37 candidates shortlisted were male. To rectify this, the SSC has published a revised result available on the official website of the Commission.
The notice also indicates that replacing the 08 wrongfully shortlisted male candidates, the SSC has shortlisted 03 additional candidates who are to be evaluated through the subsequent stages of scrutiny. The Commission has also indicated the revised category-wise cut off details against the post category NR16219 (Girl Cadet Instructor) in the notice indicating a total of 32 candidates shortlisted as per the revised result. The additionally shortlisted candidates are now required to submit their documents as required for further stages of scrutiny before the appointment.
Additionally selected candidates are now required to submit self attested documents as prescribed by the Commission. These include all documents and testimonials related to essential qualifications, experience, category, age and age relaxation as applicable. These documents must be submitted in the printed form along with a copy of the application form. All documents must be sent by speed post to the Regional Office i.e. SC (NR). The last date of receipt of documents is June 30, 2020.
