The Department of Women & Child Development, Tumakuru is inviting the applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Anganwadi Worker and Helper. The detailed notification of the recruitment can be downloaded from the official website which is anganwadirecruit.kar.nic.in. A total of 202 vacancies are announced which includes 21 Anganwadi Worker vacancies, 163 Anganwadi Helper and 18 Mini Anganwadi Worker posts in child development projects are announced. The window to submit the online applications is open and eligible candidates can send their online application by July 18, 2020.
The conducting body is inviting only female candidates to send their application for WCD, Karnataka recruitment for Anganwadi Helper/Worker/Mini Worker. Aspirants who have passed any class from 4th standard to 9th standard are eligible to apply for Anganwadi Helper whereas those who have qualified 10th standard can apply for Anganwadi worker. Those who wish to apply, their age should be less than 18 years and not exceed the upper age limit of 35 years as on July 18, 2020. Disabled candidates who wish to apply for Anganwadi worker have their upper age limit relaxable up to 45 years of age.
If the candidates have requisite qualification, they shall proceed to register and apply for the announced posts. The link to submit the application form is available on anganwadirecruit.kar.nic.in. Aspirants have to visit the official website and select the district and post for which they wish to apply for. They have to enter the scores of their educational qualification, ICDS project, select the Anganwadi centre to which applying. Fill in the application form as per the instructions given and upload the clear and scanned images of the required documents. They shall enter their mobile number which remains active throughout the recruitment process. After the application process is over, the selection committee members and child development plan officers will review the applications received at the NIC from July 20, 2020, to July 28, 2020.
Aspirants are required to upload some documents in support of their eligibility and claims for reservation. They have to upload date of birth proof, mark sheet of the educational qualification, Residence certificate issued within one year, Caste certificate for those claiming reservation, Disability certificate for physically handicapped candidates, Death certificate if the candidate is a widow, Divorce certificate, Affidavit from Gram Panchayat if the candidates were abandoned. If the candidate is the child of former Devdasi who is listed by the Karnataka State Women Development Corporation have to produce an affidavit from the office of the Women’s Development Corporation.
