Staff Selection Commission is going to announce the SSC GD Constable Result for the written examination. The result for the written examination along with the minimum cut-off marks will be released on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Candidates who have participated in the examination that was held from November 16 to December 16, 2021, have to wait for some more time. As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the SSC GD Constable result by the commission itself.
While a lot of reports by leading dailies were suggesting that the result is expected to be announced in the third or fourth week of January 2022. However, nobody has been able to provide a fixed date for the result declaration. In the absence of any concrete information regarding the SSC GD Constable result date, the candidates are getting anxious. Hence, to help them with the result, we have analyzed the result data of the last three years to get an assumption regarding the tentative date.
Year of SSC GD Constable Exam | Exam Date | Result Date | Days Difference |
SSC GD Constable 2016 | October 04 to November 22, 2015 | March 14, 2016 | 113 days |
SSC GD Constable 2017 | January 30 to February 05, 2018 | March 2018 | 100 days |
SSC GD Constable 2018 | February 11 to March 11, 2021 | June 20, 2019 | 103 days |
With these dates, it is clear that the maximum time between the date of exam and result declaration can be between 100 to 113 days. This year the exam ended on December 16, 2021. Hence, we can assume that the result shall be released between March 26 to 31, 2022. Only if things do not go as per analysis, the result declaration date can be changed.
After the result, the most second important question that has been bothering students is the SSC GD Constable cut-off marks. As per the experts of leading coaching classes, the expected cut-off marks for unreserved candidates can lie somewhere between 72 to 75 marks, and for EWS candidates it can be 69-72 marks. Whereas for the OBC category it can be between 68-71 and for SC/ST category the cut-off marks can be between 55-60 marks.
