SRM Institute of Science and Technology will open the slot booking window for SRMJEEE 2021, for the phase 1 exams, today, on May 20, 2021. Besides the date, the time at which the process will start has also been intimated. The window will be available from 8 AM at srmist.edu.in.
At the same time that the slot booking will begin, the mock tests will also be available.

Initially, the slot booking process was supposed to start yesterday, but it got delayed by a day. The date and time at which the facility to book exam date and time will close, is May 21, 2021, at 11 pm. Therefore, candidates are going to get a window of 39 hours only to book their examination slots.
Slot booking is an online process in which those who have applied for the exam, in this case SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1, can select the date and time slot in which they wish to sit for the exam. Usually this process happens on a first-come-first-serve basis. In that case, each slot has a limited number of test takers. And therefore, one who lays his/her claim on a slot first, gets it. It is just like booking a movie ticket when going to a cinema hall. It is not sure whether the same will apply this time as it is an RPOM. But even RPOMs are usually limited in the number of test takers per slot based on invigilator limitations and other factors. Therefore it will be best if candidates complete the slot booking process at the earliest, and not wait for the last minute, as by then, their favorite slot might get booked.
SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2021 will be held in phase 1 on May 23, and 24, 2021. Whereas the dates for the phase 2 exam are July 25, and 26, 2021. Yesterday was the last date to apply for phase-1. However, the registration for the phase-2 exam will remain open until July 20, 2021.
Due to the current pandemic situation, SRMIST is going to organize the SRMJEEE exam as remote proctored online mode (RPOM) mode. This is the first time that the exam will be held in this new mode. To ensure that candidates do not face any hassles on the day of exam, SRM is also providing mock tests.
The mock test for the exam is also going to be available from 8 AM today, and will remain available until May 21, 2021. The varsity has made it MANDATORY for candidates to attend the mock test. Only those who will appear in the mock test will be allowed to sit in the main examination.
To take the mock test, candidates should download the SEB setup for the mock test as well as actual exam.
SRMJEEE 2021 is the national level engineering entrance exam for institute level admission. It is conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Through this exam, candidates can get admission into the B.Tech degree courses offered by the varsity in various engineering specializations.
