VITEEE 2021 Registration Deadline, Mock Test are Today; Students Are Advised to Have Back Up Devices Too

AI proctored mock tests for the VITEEE 2021 are starting today and candidates need a computer & an android smartphone to take the test from their home.

Online registrations for appearing in the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Engineering Entrance Exam 2021 is today i.e. May 20, 2021. The Institute is conducting the entrance exam in the Remote Proctored Mode this year owing to the prevailing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021. Those who are yet to complete their registrations are advised to hurry up. In addition, it may be noted that the AI proctored mock tests for the exam are also commencing today on the website viteee.vit.ac.in.

VIT conducts the VITEEE exam once every year for admission to Engineering degree courses at the Undergraduate level. This year, owing to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute has decided to conduct the exam in the Online remote proctored exam mode. As such, VIT is also administering mandatory mock tests for candidates who are registered to appear in the exam. The first mock tests i.e. the AI proctored mock tests are scheduled to be held on May 20, 21 and 22, 2021 and candidates have to appear in the test as per a slot booked by them.

As registrations for the VITEEE 2021 exam are closing today, candidates must not waste any more time to complete online registrations at the official website, if they intend to appear in the exam this year. The link to register and apply online is available at the official website and candidates have to follow a few simple steps to complete the VITEEE 2021 Registration process. We have detailed the complete procedure in a step by step manner below.

Step 1: At first, candidates must open the website viteee.vit.ac.in using any compatible internet browser.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, candidates have to click on the link to register online.

Step 3: Candidates have to fill up the registration form and verify the mobile number by entering an OTP which is sent by the Institute to the candidate’s mobile number.

Step 4: Now, candidates will receive the login credentials on the Email ID provided by them. These credentials must be used to log in to the website for filling up the online application form.

Step 5: After logging in, candidates must start to fill up the online application form for VITEEE carefully.

Step 6: After filling up the primary details and submission, the application number is generated.

Step 7: Candidates are now required to pay the application fee online. The fee amount is Rs 1150 for payment by web and Rs 1050 for payment by app.

Step 8: Now, candidates have to submit and print-out the application form.

Step 9: The last step is to upload scanned copies of latest photograph and signature on the application form as per specifications.

VITEEE 2021 is being conducted in the remote proctored mode, meaning that candidates are allowed to take the test on a booked slot from the comfort of their homes. Detailed guidelines regarding the remote proctored mode is already published online. Candidates are advised to go through it. A computer as a primary device and a laptop as a secondary device is required to take the test as well as the mock tests for the exam. Candidates are advised to have back-up devices in order to ensure no interruption while taking the test.
