Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology has recently released the updated exam dates of phase 2 of SRMJEEE 2021. As per the revised dates, the phase 2 exam dates will be held from June 29, 2021, to June 30, 2021. Earlier the phase 2 exam of the SRMJEEE was scheduled for 25th and 26th July. The application dates are also revised and now the candidates can apply till June 20, 2021. The candidates apply for the Phase 2 examination by visiting the official website of the Institute i.e. srmist.edu.in.
The candidates should begin the application process by visiting the official website and then clicking on the SRMJEEE 2021 Phase 2 Application Form. Post this, the candidates need to register themselves by mentioning major details i.e. Candidate’s name, Email Id, Phone number, and course. Upon successful registration, the candidates are required to log in with the credentials generated. Post successful email verification, the candidates have to fill the application form with all the required details i.e. Parent’s name, academic details, upload scanned photograph and signature, etc.
In the next step, the candidates have to pay the application fee using a debit card/credit card or DD. The application fee for the SRMJEEE Phase 2 application form is Rs 1100 for all candidates. The candidates have to upload a scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature. The size of the scanned documents should not be more than 1 MB. The required dimension of the photograph should be 3.5cm X 4.5 cm while the signature should be 3.5cm X 1.5 cm.
As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates who have passed the Class 12th exam with at least 50% in PCM can apply for SRMJEEE 2021. The students who have completed their Intermediate from NIOS are also eligible to apply only if they have completed class 10th from regular schooling.
As per the official exam pattern released by the authorities, the candidates have to appear for a remote proctored test that will have multiple choice based questions on five subjects i.e. Physics, Maths, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude. The maximum number of questions asked from Physics and Chemistry will be equal to 35 while the number of questions from Mathematics, English, and Aptitude will be 40, 5, and 10 respectively. The candidates will be required to answer 125 questions in a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer marked. The language of the questions asked in the exam will be only in English.
