SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is taking admission based on SAT scores. The NRI / PIO / OCI or foreign category candidates can apply for admission in International admission category. These students avail scholarships with fee waivers of 25% to 35% under merit and 40% for SAARC countries and Africa.
SRMIST is part of the member of the India Global Higher Education Alliance of the US-based College Board. It is the board that holds the SAT exam. The students who apply with SAT scores can not only avail scholarship benefits while studying at SRM, but also some other advantages.

SRMIST have changed their B.Tech admission process. Now as per the new process, SRMJEEE 2020 will not be held and admission will be based on marks obtained in 12th standard / equivalent through e-counselling that will start from the first week of August.
Other candidates can apply in the Admissions India category for E- counselling and Interview based admissions for M.Tech, MBA BBA, Education, Hotel Management, Allied Health Sciences (except Medicine and Dental) and Science & Humanities UG and PG, programs. For all B.Tech programs, the Admission India category is based on 12th Standard / Equivalent obtained.
