One of the most awaited DU Cut Off 2019 for SRCC, Kirorimal, and Gargi College has been released. As expected, the cut off for both the colleges is pretty high. The cut off for KMC has gone as high as 98.5% for B.Com and B.Com (Hons), whereas, for the Gargi College the highest is 97 for B.A Applied Science, B.A. Economics, B.A. Chemistry (H), B.A. Mathematics (H), and B.A. Physics (H) courses. For Shri Ram College the highest cut off is 98.75% for B.A Economics (Hons) and 98.5% for B.Com (Hons).
In comparison to last year, the KMC cut off is the same with a slight difference of 1%. For B.Com (H), the cut off last year was 98.5 and for B.Com programme it was the 97.5. The cut off for SRCC has increased. The previous year, the DU 1st Cut Off for B.Com (Hons) was 97.75%, which is 0.75% less than the cut off this year and B.A Economics (Hons) it was 98.5, which is the same.
In Gargi College, the cutoff marks remain the same for B.A (Hons) Applied Psychology, B.A (Hons) Economics and B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics. However, it drops by 1% for B.Sc (Hons) Physics and by 2% for B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry.
This year in Gargi College, the highest cutoff marks are 97% for the B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics, B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry, B.A (Hons) Economics, B.A (Hons) Applied Psychology and B.Sc (Hons) Physics courses. Last year the highest cutoff marks in Gargi was the same for B.A (Hons) Applied Psychology, B.A (Hons) Economics and B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics.
Until now the DU cutoff for around 15 colleges are out and the highest cutoff marks for these colleges are between 95% to 98.5%. LSR, Hansraj, Hindu, etc are yet to release it.
The highest cut off so far has been for B.A. (Hons) Economics with 98.75% at SRCC. Then, B.Com (Hons) program for Kirorimal College – 98.5%, followed by Shaheed Bhagat Singh College for which the cut off is 97.5% for BCom (Hons). Following the line is BA (Hons) Economics. The maximum cut off is 98.25% for Kirorimal College for BA (Hons) Economics.
The candidates whose names have appeared in the first cutoff list of DU have to download DU 2019 Admission Form from du.ac.in. Candidates have to carry the properly filled form to the respective college and complete the document verification process. Candidates need to carry class 10 and 12 marks sheet, transfer certificate, character certificate, caste certificate, migration certificate, and 2 passport size recent photographs.
Delhi University is known as being one of the most reputed University of the Nation. In 1922, when the university was established, there were only three colleges namely, St. Stephens, Hindu, and Ramjas with two faculties of arts and science. Presently, there are 16 faculties, 90 colleges, and 87 departments. From this year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the entrance test for the DU courses where the admission is based on students qualifying the entrance exam – DUET 2019.
DU Admission 2019 started on May 30, 2019, and the registrations were closed on June 22, 2019. DUET 2019 for the UG courses will be held on July 01 to 04, 2019. In all the admission in DU is being offered in 87 UG courses and 153 PG courses, across all the 90 colleges under DU.
