Southern Railways Recruitment 2020: Apply Online for 100 + Vacancies for Specialist Doctors, Lab Assistants & Others

Interested candidates who have passed 10th/12th/MBBS/DMLT are recruited by Southern Railways for the service under COVID-19 Isolation Wards

Southern railways is inviting online applications for the recruitment of GDMO Doctors, Specialist Doctors, Nursing Superintendents, Lab Assistants and Hospital Attendants at Central Hospital Lallaguda. A total of 110 vacant posts are available under the Southern Railways recruitment. The recruitment to these posts is done through online/telephonic interview. Interested candidates can download the notification number 02/2020/COVID-19 from the official website which is scr.indianrailways.gov.in. Candidates must submit the online application before the last date which is July 15, 2020.

The recruitment to the announced posts is on a temporary basis. Shortlisted candidates receive a monthly salary depending on the post they are recruited under. For the post of Specialist Doctors, candidates get a monthly salary of Rs 95,000/-, Rs.75,000/- for GDO Doctors, Rs.44,900 to Nursing Superintendent, Rs.21,700/- to Lab Assistant, Rs.18,000/- to Hospital Attendant.

Candidates who have MBBS degree and PG/Diploma in General Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine or anaesthesia are eligible for the post of Specialist Doctor. A certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife is required to apply for the post of Nursing Superintendent. Along with this, they must also have 03 years of work experience in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of nursing. An MBBS Degree with the completion of the internship is necessary to apply for GDMO Doctors. Those who have passed 10+2 with science stream and have a diploma in Lab Technology (DMLT) can apply for Lab Assistants. 10th pass candidates or ITI pass can apply for the post of Hospital Attendant. Candidates who wish to apply for Hospital Assistants should also have at least 01 years of work experience in the medical facility having a minimum of 20 beds.

Along with the educational qualification, candidates also have to ensure that they are following the age limit as prescribed by the conducting body. The maximum age limit to apply for all the post is 54 years. The minimum age limit for Nursing Superintendent is 20 years, 18 years for Lab Assistant, and Hospital Attendant. The age limit of a candidate is calculated as on July 01, 2020.

To apply for the announced posts, candidates first have to download the advertisement from the official website. The conducting body has provided the direct link to submit the form against the posts in the notification. Candidates have to click on the link from where they are directed to google form link. Enter the details as asked in the form with the utmost attention. The information provided by the candidates is scrutinized at the time of document verification. Those candidates who are found eligible at the time of scrutiny of the application form are nominated for the post. Hereafter, an interview through an online video call is conducted.
