Sonu Sood, a commendable actor, humanitarian and philanthropist has become a hero for many across the country, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor has announced a new initiative under the “Sood Charity Foundation” called the “Free CA Education”. Under this education initiative, CA aspirants in India shall receive internship opportunities, coaching facility and relevant placements. To register for the same, interested candidates will have to complete the registration formalities on the website soodcharityfoundation.org. The actor took to Instagram to announce this new education initiative, providing free CA education to many aspirants.
While announcing the free CA education initiative on Instagram, Sood stated that for accelerating the growth of India’s economy, the country is in need of bright chartered accountants. This initiative is therefore, a small step towards enabling the increase in the number of CAs in the country. Instagrammers in India were quick to appreciate this initiative by the highly-appreciated actor, with many appreciating Sood’s efforts in helping the country.
This initiative is aimed at providing adequate CA education and internship/placement opportunities to those aspirants who aren’t financially able to pay for their education. To register for this initiative, aspirants must access the charity foundation’s official website i.e., soodcharityfoundation.org. On the homepage of the website, candidates must click on the “campaigns” menu. This will redirect them to a new page.
On the redirected page, CA Free Education initiative called SAKSHAM will be displayed at the top of the list. Students must click on the “Register Now” option to access the registration google form. Before filling the google form, students must view the terms and conditions linked to this initiative to check their eligibility.
After carefully going through the terms and conditions, candidates have to fill in their google form with the required personal and education details. The personal details include name, gender, email ID, mobile number, address, state, parental annual income, etc. Educational details to be entered in the form include Class 10 and 12 percentage, name of high school board, CA foundation course details, internship details, etc. After filling-in these details, candidates must check them carefully before clicking on the “Submit” option.
The CA Free Education initiative, called SAKSHAM, has been started by the Sood Charity Foundation in collaboration with the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Media Chutney. The initiative aims to empower and encourage aspiring CAs by supporting their education along with other aspects. Additionally, the program will also provide employment opportunities like internships with CAs and coaching facilities to prepare for the ensuing exams.
