Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science has released a recruitment notice to fill up the vacant posts of Non-Teaching Staff. The posts that are announced are of Sister Grade-II, Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist, Technician (Radiography), Technician (Radiology), Driver (Ordinary Grade), Medical Social Service Officer Grade-II. The conducting body has announced a total of 825 vacancies for Non-Teaching Staff. Candidates can download the detailed advertisement from the official website, sgpgi.ac.in. The online application process starts from July 20, 2020, onwards.
For the post of Sister Grade-II, 617 vacancies are announced, 23 for Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist, 134 for Medical Laboratory technologists, 04 for Technician (Radiography), 26 for Technician (Radiology), 10 for Driver (Ordinary Grade) and 11 vacancies for Medical Social Service Officer Grade-II. Candidates who are shortlisted for the post of Sister Grade-II receives Rs.44900-Rs.142400 per month, Rs.29200-Rs.92300 monthly salary to Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist, Rs.19900-Rs.63200 to Driver (Ordinary Grade) and Rs.35400-Rs.112400 as monthly salary to Technician (Radiography), Technician (Radiology), and Medical Social Service Officer Grade-II.
Only online application form is accepted from the eligible candidates. To submit the form, candidates have to visit the official website of the conducting body, sgpgi.ac.in. Aspirants are advised to read the complete advertisement as provided by the conducting body. Those applicants who have submitted their application earlier for the Advt. no. I-43/2016-17 & I/24/Rectt./2018-19 (for the post of Sister Grade-II) Advt No. I/55/2015-16 (for Driver Oridinary Trade), Advt, No. I/33/Rectt./2017-18 (for the post of SSO Grade-II), Advt No. I/48/Rectt./2018-19 (for the post of Technician Grade-II) and Advt No. I/54/Recruit./2018-19 (for disabled persons) have to apply again. Such candidates are not required to pay the fees. However, they must upload a photocopy of the transaction ID/Depositing fees/DD.
To apply for Sister Grade-II, candidates must have B.Sc (Nursing)/B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc (Post Certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and registration as Nurse and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council. Candidates who have Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with registration as Nurse and Midwife and 02 years experience in 50 bedded hospital are also eligible for the post of Sister Grade-II. Those who wish to apply for Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist must have passed 10+2 with Science subject (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) and 02 years Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. Candidates must also have one-year experience in Lab in a hospital with 100 beds. For Medical Laboratory Technology, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Technology/Medical Laboratory Science with 02 years of experience in the hospital with a minimum of 100 beds.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with science subjects, diploma in concerned subjects, and one year experience in a relevant field are eligible for the post of Technical (Radiography) and Technician (Radiology). Candidates who have B.Sc (Hons) in the concerned subject are also eligible for the post. To apply for Driver (Ordinary Grade), candidates must have a valid license with knowledge in Motor Mechanism. They must also have minimum 03 years experience. Aspirants who possess a Master’s degree in Social Work and experience in the line of Welfare or Health Agency are eligible for the post of Medical Social Service Officer Grade-II.
