Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Counsellor. The shortlisted candidates are recruited for the post of Counsellor under the medical department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The recruitment is conducted on a contractual basis. The conducting body has announced a total of 40 vacancies for the post of Counsellor. The last date to submit the representations for the announced post is July 31, 2020.
The candidates are recruited for 06 months in COVID Care Centres (CCC). Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 disease, the posts mentioned are to be filled in various hospitals. PCMC offers the job of Counselor under the pay scale of Rs.25,541/- per month. It will be mandatory for the shortlisted candidates to do fieldwork for controlling COVID-19. To apply for the post, candidates must have an MSW degree.
The application procedure for the PCMC recruitment for Counsellor is conducted through the offline procedure. The form is available along with the recruitment notification. Candidates have to ensure that they download and take a print out of the form to submit. Eligible candidates should submit the form in-person at Medical Head Office, 2nd Floor, Pimpri Chinchwad Mahanagarpatrika Bhavan, Pimpri 411 018 before the last date. Along with the application form, candidates also have to attach certain documents/certificates in support of their reservation claims, educational qualification age. They have to send educational and other qualification certificates, certificate of experience, caste certificate, updated registration certificate and other documents. They should also attach the passport size photo on the application form.
The selection of the candidates is based on the scrutiny of the applications. Once the application process is over, the conducting body scrutinizes the candidate’s application form and their eligibility as well. Candidates have to ensure that they provide the information accurate and true. During verification, if any candidate is found ineligible, he/she is debarred from the recruitment. Appointment orders will be issued to the eligible candidates on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
