The result of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2019 has been announced on its official website, set-test.org. Candidates need to login with their SET ID and password to download their scorecard. As per the official website of SET 2019, the scorecard was said to be released on May 14, 2019 after 5 pm. But, it has been released 15 mins prior to 5 pm, today.
Currently, Symbiosis International has declared the result for SLAT/SEED/SITEEE/SET 2019. All those who had appeared for SET 2019 on May 04, 2019 and May 11, 2019 can check their scorecard in online mode only. Selected candidates are further called to appear for Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT).
How To Download SET 2019 Scorecard?
To download SET 2019 Scorecard, a candidate needs to visit University’s website and look for the relevant link, over the main page. On clicking the “Download Scorecard” button, a candidate is taken to candidate’s login, where he/she is required to enter relevant details. As soon as, a candidate clicks “Login” button, SET 2019 Scorecard appears on the device’s screen. After viewing the SET 2019 Scorecard, a candidate needs to save a copy of the same for further admission rounds.
Once Symbiosis International has issued the individual scorecard, it then prepares and releases a list of selected candidates. This list is prepared category wise and by taking into consideration the merit scores of various SET 2019 applicants. On this basis, a candidate is called to appear for PI/ WAT round. Qualified candidates are allotted seats across various courses.The University further publishes the wait list, on the basis of the vacant seats available. All merit lists and wait lists are prepared and released over the University’s website.
Also, after SET 2019 Result declaration, the University specifies a minimum qualifying marks, that needs to be scored by a candidate in order to be considered qualified. This cut off marks is decided on the basis of different factors – scores obtained by the qualified candidates, number of seats available in the respective institutes, number of applied candidates and the difficulty level of the test. Note that, for different member institutes, the University fixes different cut off marks.
Further, a reservation policy of seat is followed by the University. As per this, 15% and 7.5%
of the total seats are to be reserved for SC and ST category candidates. While 03% of the total seats are to be reserved for Differently Abled category candidates. Under every course, 2 seats are to be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants.
International category candidates are given 15% of seat reservation. A defence quota is also applicable where such candidates are given 5% for SLS-PUNE, SICSR and SCMS- Pune. SET is an university level entrance exam, conducted every year for admissions to various BCA, BBA, BA and B.Sc. courses.
