National Testing Agency has declared the JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Result at jeemain.nic.in. The result is declared on May 14, 2019, at around 2:30 PM. To check the result the candidates have to use their application number and date of birth.
To check the result the candidates have to visit the official website and click on the result declaration link. In doing so the login window opens wherein the candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth. The result of paper 1 was already announced earlier on April 29, 2019.
The candidates can check their NTA scores for each subject of paper 2 and also the overall NTA score. In addition to that, the score of the January session is also made available in the scorecard. Note that the cutoff marks to appear for JEE Advanced 2019 is available only for the Paper 1 candidates. Since paper 2 candidates are not eligible for the JEE Advanced, there are no cutoff marks for them in the scorecard.
The scorecard of JEE Main 2019 paper 2 also includes the AIR of the candidates based on their best percentile score out of January and April session. Based on the All India Rank (AIR) the candidates are given admission in the NITs, IIITs and the CFTIs in the counselling rounds.
The candidates can check their AIR category wise in the scorecard. That is they can check the AIR for the general category, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, CRL-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD and ST-PwD.
Selected candidates are further asked to appear for JEE Main 2019 counselling round. Although, National Testing Agency (NTA) is not responsible for conducting this final admission round. This round will be conducted by JoSAA/CSAB. TO appear for this round, a candidate needs to get themselves registered separately. After successful registration, these candidates have to submit their choice of course and college combination. Once the authorities receive this data from all its qualified candidates, it allots the seats on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam, choice submitted, and availability of seats.
JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 is conducted for UG architecture courses. It was conducted on April 7, 2019 in online and offline mode. Candidates were required to attempt questions from Mathematics (Part 1), Aptitude Test (Part II) and Drawing Test (Part III) for a duration of 3 hours. While maths and aptitude test was conducted in online mode, to attempt drawing questions, a candidate was provided drawing sheet.
