VIT-AP University has come up with scholarship facilities for the BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, UG-Law Students. The scholarship schemes were announced by the Vice President, VIT, Dr. Sekar Viswanathan. The scholarship schemes are GV Merit Scholarship and Tmt. Rajeswari Ammal merit scholarship aimed at supporting candidates. These 2 merit scholarships can be availed by all candidates appearing for the Under Graduate Non-engineering programmes admissions from the academic year 2021. The application process has started on February 17, 2021, and will go on till May 31, 2021.
The GV Merit Scholarship is for any board topper across the country. Under this scholarship, the student will get a 100% scholarship for all years of the under Graduate programme, as explained by Dr. S V Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, VIT-AP.
To avail Tmt. Rajeswari Ammal merit scholarship, a candidate must be a district topper from any state across the country. The student is eligible for a 50% scholarship on the Tuition Fee for all the years of the degree program. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it a 75% scholarship), explained Dr. C.L.V Sivakumar.
BBA course is offered in General management and with specializations like Business Analytics, Fintech, Digital Marketing. There is BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA. LLb,(Hons.) 5year courses, B. Com, and the dual degree programmes B.A & M.A in Public Services, B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Data Science, the unique B.Com program offered at VIT-AP, has the fundamentals of CMA, CA, CFA, and ACS embedded in the three-year program.
